Rathtrevor Beach

Rathtrevor is a great place to visit at any time of the year. Since the beach extends for close to a kilometre, when the tide rolls in over the sunbaked sand, the naturally warmed water is unbeatable for swimming, snorkeling and shallow water activities.

Large numbers of seabirds congregate here for the annual herring spawn in March. During March and April, Rathtrevor Beach is also one of the best spots on Vancouver Island to view the thousands of migrating Brant geese.

Rathtrevor Beach is part of a larger park that includes tent camping and RV hookups.Rathtrevor Beach is about 5 mins south of Parksville Beach just off Hwy 19A.
