Ucluelet’s 2 day/2 night Winter Whale Adventure

Embark on an exhilarating 2.5-4 hour whale watching adventure with a local charter company! You’ll have the opportunity to spy Gray, Humpback and Orca (Killer) whales, along with plenty of other amazing, sea life.

Do you want to explore Ucluelet’s notorious next-door neighbor, Tofino, but don’t have a vehicle? What about indulging in a couple of drinks while out for dinner? We can arrange a private shuttle to Tofino right from your accommodation for a night!

Day-by-Day Breakdown + Descriptions
Day 1:
Welcome to the west coast! Check in to your accommodations, explore the town and relax to your beautiful ocean view.
Day 2:
Today’s the day you take to the waters! Enjoy an exhilarating morning or afternoon on a whale watching expedition with a local charter. You’ll explore the waters of Barkley Sound in search of the magnificent giants of the sea. Depending on the season, you’ll have the chance to see Gray whales, Humpbacks, or maybe even Orcas! There are plenty of other incredible creatures to spot as well, from eagles soaring above, to playful seals and sea lions splashing in the waters. Whether you’re zooming in a zodiac, or coasting in a cabin cruiser, you’ll have the west coast experience of a lifetime.
Day 3:
The Pacific Rim has plenty of offer for your final day. Whether you’re into hiking through the incredible temperate rainforests, trying your hand at salmon fishing, exploring world-famous beaches like Long Beach in Tofino, or want to do some shopping, Ucluelet and Tofino have it all. From relaxing spas and tasty restaurants, to zip lines and surfing, there’s something for everyone.
