Witty’s Lagoon

Witty’s Lagoon Regional Park is a network of trails and boardwalks that find their way through a forest of Douglas Fir leading to a quaint little beach at Witty’s Lagoon. The trails run around the lagoon, however many just head to the beach and lagoon and skip walking the trails. This is a mistake as the trails are worth the time to enjoy the scenery in the park and beyond.

Time and Distance:
5k of trails. Expect two hours if you walk most of the trails and more if you explore the beach and lagoon.
Floral and Fauna:
There are over 160 bird species have been seen in the park and this is a hotspot for bird watchers.
