Dallas Rd walkway is Victoria’s southern boundary that stretches approx. 4 miles looking south to the strait of Juan de Fuca. Fortunately the city’s founders made the land between Dallas Rd and the ocean public parkland into perpetuity. Therefore we get to enjoy a beautiful paved trail that snakes along the ocean front in Victoria. During your time here there is a good possibility you will see kite surfers, wind surfers on the waves and paragliders on one of the thermal hotspots in Canada.
In the middle of the 4 km section is Beacon Hill Park, one of the favorite spots for visitors to Victoria. Other highlights include Clover Point Park and Holland Park, two small peninsulas that have parking and are small bluffs that overlook the ocean.
