Englishman River Falls

About 15 mins west of Parksville, Englishman River Falls Provincial park is a great place to go for a leisurely stroll with the family in a forested area along the river. There are two waterfalls and some scenic stretches of river heading into a canyon.

The park is mostly used by day travellers including locals coming to a crystal clear pool with a  few 15-20ft cliffs to jump from as well as two bridges. There is also a campground close to the river for those wanting to stay overnight.

The park is 97 hectares big.

Pets:

Dogs and other animals must be on a leash at all times in the park and are not allowed on the beach areas.

Directions:

Take 4A north exiting at the 2nd Parksville exit off Hwy 19. Follow signs from highway 4A to Englishman River Falls Provincial Park.
